Eva Toorenent

Eva Toorenent (b. 1997) also known as Evaboneva, is an up-and-coming creature designer and artist from The Netherlands. After receiving her high school diploma, she studied illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Upon graduating in 2019, she dedicated herself to creating her art full-time.

Eva specializes in creating cute and creepy art that tells a story. Her creations have been featured in multiple publications, galleries, and entertainment-based productions. In 2020, she also wrote and illustrated her book De Wondere Wereld van Eva ("The Wonderful World of Eva"), filled with whimsical and strange creatures she encountered in childhood.

Since 2022, she has been the Dutch advisor to EGAIR (European Guild of Artificial Intelligence Regulation). Together, they fight for new regulations and laws surrounding generative AI technologies. EGAIR does this by lobbying politicians and the European Parliament.
