- If you are a citizen of a country that has signed a visa-free agreement with the Schengen Area member states: You do not need to obtain a Schengen Visa. Your valid national passport will allow free entry and travel within the Schengen Area for 90 days out of a 180-day period.
- If you are a citizen of a country that has not signed a visa-free agreement with the Schengen Area member states: You must obtain a short-term visa (in Dutch: visum kort verblijf, or VKV) before entering the Netherlands. You must apply for a VKV in your home country at the appropriate Dutch Embassy or Consular Office. Schools cannot apply for this type of visa on your behalf. However, DARA can provide a letter of support for you to submit alongside your visa application that certifies your enrollment in our studio.
