​Werktuig-PPO
Werktuig-PPO helps finance the continuing education and development plans for anyone who works in the creative or cultural sector, both employees as well as freelancers. DARA students who work in this sector may be eligible for a grant which covers one-third of the cost of tuition per course, and a maximum contribution of €2.000 per 12 months. This grant is currently available until the end of 2028.

This fund provides support for those from low-income households to be involved in the arts. You must have a registered address within the Netherlands. You can apply to the fund in your own region through the website.

• Student Discount

  This discount grants you 10% off the cost of any one trimester course.*
  
  You are eligible if you meet either one of the following criteria:

  • You are under the age of 21 when the trimester begins;
  • You will be enrolled as a full-time student in a university or other accredited higher education during the trimester.

  To claim the discount, please provide a copy of your government ID which indicates your name and date of birth OR your valid student ID card upon acceptance to DARA's Trimester Programme. You must claim this discount before the trimester starts.
  
  * This discount can be combined with the Artist Discount (see below.) If you are taking multiple courses and also receive DARA's Artist Discount, then your 10% Student Discount is applied to the course with the lowest tuition fee.

  Artist Discount

  The Artist Discount is offered to support our students who study at DARA on a more extensive basis.
  
  You are eligible if you are enrolled in more than one course during a trimester. With this discount, the combined total of your tuition fees per term is reduced as such:
  
  

  • Enrolled in 2 trimester courses per term: 5% discount;
  • Enrolled in 3 trimester courses per term: 7% discount;
  • Enrolled in 4 trimester courses per term: 10% discount.

  
  ​Note that if you are accepted to multiple courses, but then withdraw from one or more course before the trimester starts, the full discount will no longer apply.
• Master the Portrait: Sculpt & Draw Discount

  Elevate your skills with two complementary high-level intensives in Amsterdam & Haarlem.
  
  Save 10% off your total tuition fees when you combine our workshop Drawing the Portrait: Structure & Form with Kevin Müller Cisneros (5 to 16 January 2026) with the workshop Sculpting the Portrait at Figura Academy of Figurative Sculpture in Amsterdam (8 to 14 December.)
  
  Terms & Conditions
  DARA will seek proof of your enrolment with Figura as a condition of eligibility for this discount. If you cancel your enrolment in one course, the discount no longer applies.

  Early Bird Discount

  Save 10% off any one 2026 Spring or Summer Workshop when you register by 30 November 2025.
  
  Terms & Conditions

  • Your online registration is submitted on or before 30 November. The discount ends at 23:59 CET.
  • If you are enrolling in multiple workshops, the Early Bird discount applies to the workshop with the lowest tuition fee. You can combine the Early Bird Discount with the Artist Discount (see below.)
  • The discount does not apply to Drawing the Portrait: Structure & Form with Kevin Müller Cisneros (5 to 16 January); this workshop has other special discounts available (see above.)
  • You secure your place in the course by paying a course deposit within 14 days of your letter of acceptance. If your deposit is not paid within this timeframe, the discount offer is void.
  • If you decide to credit your tuition fees towards a different course after the Early Bird period has ended, the Early Bird rate will not apply to the new course.

  Register for Multiple Workshops

  Planning to enrol in multiple workshops at DARA in 2026? You save €50,00 off the total cost of tuition for each additional workshop you take, for up to €200 in savings:

  • Take any 2 Workshops: Save €50;
  • Take any 3 Workshops: Save €100;
  • Take any 4 Workshops: Save €150;
  • Take 5 or more Workshops: Save €200;

  
  Terms & Conditions

  • You can combine this discount with the Early Bird Discount. Register early and maximise your savings!
  • If you cancel for one or more workshops, the full discount will no longer apply.
  • This offer only extends to our '26 Workshop Programme. If you combine a single workshop with another type of course, such as a bootcamp, this discount is not valid.
• Early Bird Discount

  You are eligible for a 7% discount off any one summer bootcamp if you register between 13 to 24 April, and you reserve your space by paying a deposit within 14 days of your letter of acceptance.
  
  Terms & Conditions:

  • You must have submitted an online registration form before 23:59 CEST on 24 April.
  • If you enrol in multiple bootcamps, this discount applies to the bootcamp with the lowest tuition fee.
  • If you cancel your enrolment and then decide to join the course at a later time, the discount is void.
  • If your deposit payment is not received by the deadline (within 14 days of your letter of acceptance), the discount is void.
  • If you receive the Early Bird rate, and then later decide to transfer your tuition fee to a different course, the discount is void.

  Register for Multiple Bootcamps

  The more bootcamps you join, the more you save!
  
  In gratitude to our dedicated students, DARA offers you a €30 discount for each additional bootcamp you join in 2026, for maximum savings of up to €120.
  
  What you save:

  • Any 2 Bootcamps: save €30 off the combined total of tuition fees;
  • Any 3 Bootcamps: save €60 off the combined total of tuition fees;
  • Any 4 Bootcamps: save €90 off the combined total of tuition fees;
  • All 5 Bootcamps: save €120 off the combined total of tuition fees.

  
  Terms & Conditions:

  • You can combine this discount with the Early Bird discount. Register early and maximise your savings!
  • If you cancel your enrolment in one or more courses, the full discount will no longer apply.
  • This discount only applies to our '26 Summer Bootcamp programme. If you enrol in just one bootcamp, but also join some other type of course (a workshop, etc.) you are not eligible for this discount.
