workshopsThe workshops offered by DARA are 3- to 5-day intensives that cover a variety of drawing and painting disciplines. Each of the workshops are led by professional artists who have been classically trained in academies renowned for contemporary realism in the figurative arts.
Workshops are an excellent opportunity to study and incorporate a variety of traditional drawing and painting methods into your own practice. These courses are selectively curated to complement the training offered in our Part-Time Programme of study. Our workshop students enjoy a complimentary light lunch and a friendly studio environment to hone their skills in figurative drawing and painting. All workshops promote our studio's fundamental philosophy of achieving artistic excellence through the development of a high level of technique and draftsmanship. Not sure if a workshop is the right level for you? Generally, our small class sizes mean that instruction can be tailored to each student's individual level, but we have indicated a "recommended level" in each course description. Please review our Studio Policies before submitting a registration form. |
