​Werktuig-PPO
Werktuig-PPO helps finance the continuing education and development plans for anyone who works in the creative or cultural sector, both employees as well as freelancers. DARA students who work in this sector may be eligible for a grant which covers one-third of the cost of tuition per course, and a maximum contribution of €2.000 per 12 months. This grant is available until the end of 2025.

Volwassenenfonds Sport and Culture https://www.volwassenenfonds.nl
This fund provides support for those from low-income households to be involved in the arts. You must have a registered address within the Netherlands. You can apply to the fund in your own region through the website.

• Student Discount

  This discount grants you 10% off the cost of any one trimester course.*
  
  You are eligible if you meet either one of the following criteria:

  • You are under the age of 21 when the trimester begins;
  • You will be enrolled as a full-time student in a university or other accredited higher education during the trimester.

  ​
  To claim the discount, please provide a copy of your government ID which indicates your name and date of birth OR your valid student ID card upon acceptance to DARA's Trimester Programme. You must claim this discount before the trimester starts.
  
  * This discount can be combined with the Artist Discount (see below.) If you are taking multiple courses and also receive DARA's Artist Discount, then your 10% Student Discount is applied to the course with the lowest tuition fee.

  Artist Discount

  The Artist Discount is offered to support our students who study at DARA on a more extensive basis.
  
  You are eligible if you are enrolled in more than one course during a trimester. With this discount, the combined total of your tuition fees per term is reduced as such:
  
  

  • Enrolled in 2 trimester courses per term: 5% discount;
  • Enrolled in 3 trimester courses per term: 7% discount;
  • Enrolled in 4 trimester courses per term: 10% discount.

  
  ​Note that if you are accepted to multiple courses, but then withdraw from one or more course before the trimester starts, the full discount will no longer apply.
• César Meza's Discount

  You receive €130,00 off the total cost of tuition if you are enrolled in both of César Meza's workshops:

  • Painting the Dutch Landscape en plein air
  • Narrative Model Painting: Storytelling through Composition & Color​

  Danny Ferland's Discount

  You receive €100,00 off the total cost of tuition if you are enrolled in both of Danny Ferland's workshops:

  • Painting the Figure in an Interior
  • The Impasto Portrait: The Face in Bold Brushwork

  Foundations Workshops Discount

  You receive €50,00 off the total cost of tuition if you are enrolled in these workshops together:

  • Drawing Foundations: The Academic Still Life
  • Introduction to Oil Painting: Techniques, Composition & Color

  Patrick Byrnes' Discount

  You receive €100,00 off the total cost of tuition if you are enrolled in both of Patrick Byrnes' workshops:

  • Dynamic Figure Sketch: Structure & Expression
  • Painting the Limited Palette Portrait: Color & Complexion

  Thomas Langeveld's Discount

  • Enroll in any 2 workshops with Thomas Langeveld and receive €80,00 off the combined total;
  • Enroll in all 3 workshops with Thomas Langeveld and receive €120,00 off the combined total.

• Summer Bootcamp 2025

  For students who are enrolled in multiple Bootcamps, DARA offers a discount of €30,- off the tuition fee for each additional course:
  
  

  • Enroll in 2 bootcamps: €30,- off the total sum of tuition fees;

  • Enroll in 3 bootcamps: €60,- off the total sum of tuition fees;
  • Enroll in all 4 bootcamps: €90,- off the total sum of tuition fees;

  • Enroll in all 4 bootcamps, and join both groups for Bootcamp #3 with Edo Fuijkschot: €120,- off the total sum of tuition fees
