 Meet Marta Pertak, one of the competition winners in DARA's Academic Portrait Drawing class. Despite only being enrolled in her very first term at DARA, Marta was quickly recognized for her strong proficiency in drawing from life.
 Submissions are open for DARA's 2nd annual Students & Teachers Show, to be held in June 2025.

 DARA is hosting its first exhibition! The show will feature art made by our studio's instructors, as well as current and former students who have completed at least one course at DARA during the period of 2018 to 2024.  In April 2024, DARA will be moving to a new building in Haarlem at Zuider Emmakade 45, which is more than twice the size of our current space. The building is equipped with skylights in what will be our new model studios, to offer possibilities to work under both natural as well as artificial light.
