Inge van de Ven

​Inge van de Ven grew up in Maastricht in a creative family where “Do It Yourself” was the norm rather than exception. It was inevitable that she graduated from high school with drawing as an extra subject.

She started studying Fine Art and Design in Education and became a certified teacher at the age of 21. Following this, she studied textile conservation and restoration in Amsterdam.

In 2022, Inge discovered DARA and passionately started refining her classical drawing and painting skills. She has studied with Diego Glazer, Ilse Nass, Evan Fugazzi and currently studies at Figura, Dutch Academy of Figurative Sculpture. After working in 2023 as a teaching assistant, she is now a core drawing instructor in DARA's Trimester Programme.

At this moment, Inge focuses on her own learning path with a special interest in drawing portraiture and model sketches from life.
