KEEPING OUR STUDIO SAFE

Due to the coronavirus crisis, the DARA studio is currently closed to all students and visitors.
No classes will be held during the winter season. The studio will resume courses and workshops starting in the spring. At that time, in order to keep our studio environment safe and sanitary for all who enter, the following protocols will apply to every person who enters the building. This includes all students, instructors, models, and visitors.

Due to the coronavirus crisis, the DARA studio is currently closed to all students and visitors.
No classes will be held during the winter season. The studio will resume courses and workshops starting in the spring. At that time, in order to keep our studio environment safe and sanitary for all who enter, the following protocols will apply to every person who enters the building. This includes all students, instructors, models, and visitors.
- If the answer to any of the following questions is "Yes" at the time of visiting DARA, entry into the building will not be permitted under any circumstances:
- Do you now have the coronavirus?
- Do you live with any roommates or family members who have the coronavirus?
- Have you recently come into contact with someone confirmed or reasonably believed to have the coronavirus?
- At the time of your visit, have you recovered from the coronavirus less than 2 weeks prior?
- Do you have one or more of the following symptoms: cold, sneezing, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fever (over 38⁰C)?
- Do you live with any roommates or family members with these symptoms?
- Have you been ordered to self-quarantine?
- Class sizes will be strictly limited to 10 students or less. No more than 30 people may be in the building at any given time.
- It will be required for everyone to wear a face mask (covering the mouth and nose) while inside the building. Models will be permitted to remove their face mask only while posing on the model stand (which is more than 2 meters distance from all easels.)
- Upon entering the studio, visitors must use the hand sanitizer available at the entrance to thoroughly clean their hands.
- When inside the studio, every person must keep a 1,5 meters distance between themselves and others at all times.
- In order to ensure proper social distancing, all work spaces are to be spaced apart 1,5 meters. Plexiglass safety barriers are constructed between easels; it will not be permitted for students to move the easels or the safety barriers.
- Studio visits will be by appointment only, no walk-ins.
