CPION Accreditation Since 2026, DARA's Trimester Programme has been accredited by the Centrum voor Post Initieel Onderwijs Nederland (CPION) and is registered with the Stichting Hoger Onderwijs (SHO).
This qualification confirms the Trimester Programme as a professional education programme at the post-initial HBO (hoger beroepsonderwijs) level. Students enrolled in the Trimester Programme are able to register for three diploma-opleidingen, which lead to an officially recognised Diploma, conferred upon the successful completion of all course requirements.

Diplomas issued by DARA are officially recorded in CPION's Abituriëntenregister. A diploma confirms that a student has completed a course of study aligned with the quality, level, and practical relevance of the Stichting Hoger Onderwijs Nederland's accreditation standards, and may be used for the student's professional development and career advancement within the creative sector.
CRKBO Since 2018, DARA has been registered with the Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs (CRKBO) as an institution of vocational education. This registration signifies that courses at DARA demonstrably comply with the Quality Code for Training Institutes for Short Vocational Education, and are exempt from levying VAT.
