Trimester Programme

Vocational training in academic drawing and painting which emphasize learning traditional methods from direct observation. Courses are offered on a basis of 3-month trimesters during the autumn, winter, and spring. Lessons are scheduled in the evenings and weekends in order to be more accessible for those studying on a part-time basis, but can be adapted to fuller study schedules.

Workshops

Intensive short courses which teach drawing and painting from life. Advanced level courses which are suitable for serious artists and professionals seeking to further sharpen their skillset. Workshops generally consist of 5 days (with some exceptions) and are scheduled from spring to early fall.

Drawing Bootcamp

Orientation-level courses suitable for beginning artists who are seeking to improve their technical drawing skills, or are curious if academic training is a good fit. DARA's drawing bootcamp is scheduled during the summer.
